Monster the Loch

Monster the Loch is the first mass participation boat race on Loch Ness, stretching 21 miles long and 1 mile wide. The course runs with the wind from Dores or Fort Augustus.

The weather & loch can be unpredictable so ensure your boats are seaworthy, or contact us about hiring one of ours! In 2022, 94 crews & 350 competitors took to the Loch in boats ranging from pedalos and self built boats to international rowers and kayakers.
