Set off from Wallingford, gliding past Benson Lock and the historic market town of Dorchester-on-Thames. Row through the stunning Goring Gap, where the Thames carves through the Chiltern Hills, offering breathtaking scenery. Pass through the twin villages of Goring and Streatley before reaching the lively town of Henley-on-Thames, world-famous for its Royal Regatta. Enjoy a hearty meal and unwind at a traditional riverside inn, soaking in the town’s rich rowing heritage.
Depart Henley, rowing through the peaceful stretch past Hambleden Lock and the charming town of Marlow, with its elegant suspension bridge designed by William Tierney Clark. Glide past Cookham, an inspiration for artist Sir Stanley Spencer, before reaching Cliveden House, once home to dukes and socialites. Continue past the historic village of Bray, known for its Michelin-starred restaurants, before making the final push towards Windsor. Arrive triumphantly beneath the towering Windsor Castle, marking the grand finale of your unforgettable journey.
