Day 1: Wallingford to Pangbourne (18 km)
Begin your journey in Wallingford, a historic market town with medieval charm. Row past Benson Lock and through the stunning Goring Gap, where the river winds between the Chiltern Hills. Stop in the twin villages of Goring and Streatley for a relaxing lunch by the water. Continue past Whitchurch Lock before arriving in Pangbourne, where you’ll enjoy a comfortable overnight stay in a traditional riverside inn.
Day 2: Pangbourne to Henley-on-Thames (16 km)
Depart Pangbourne and row past the peaceful stretch of Mapledurham Lock, with views of the 16th-century watermill. Continue through the rolling countryside, passing Sonning with its historic riverside pubs. As you approach Henley, take in the regatta course before arriving in this world-famous rowing town, where you’ll celebrate the completion of your journey with a well-earned rest and the option to explore the River & Rowing Museum.
